Connect to Cirro with SQL Workbenchj editor using these steps.

Before You Start

Before you set up any SQL client, you’ll need:

Download Cirro JDBC client

  • Open Cirro in a web browser.

  • Click Download Drivers, found at the bottom of the page.

  • Click the JDBC driver.

  • Choose a download folder then click OK

Setup Driver

It’s a two step process to add a driver.

  • First, choose File, then Manage Drivers.

  • Second, enter a name for the driver and find it on your system.

    • Click which creates a new Driver.

    • Enter the driver name (we recommend “Cirro”).

    • Click Open then find cirroclient.jar and click OK.

    • Click OK on the Manage Drivers dialog.

Setup Connection

It’s a two step process to connect to Cirro.

  • First, choose File then Connect window.

  • Second, enter connection details.

    • Enter a connection name.

    • Choose the Cirro JDBC driver.

    • Enter connection details:

  • Click Test to verify the settings are correct.

  • Click Ok to connect.

Once you have a connection, we suggest you save it for later.

  • Click Workspace and Save Workspace to save the settings for later.
