Setup OpenVPN, IPSec or SSH network connections to enable Cirro to connect securely to datasources.

Before You Start

Do any or all of the following depending on your needs.

  • Sign up for an OpenVPN account.

  • Set up an L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) server.

  • Set up an SSH Server.

How does it work?

View Network Connections

  • Click Resources then Networks.
Column Description
Name User supplied name of network
Type Type of network: OpenVPN, L2TP/IPSEC, SSH
Description Host type (REMOTE/LOCAL): ip address/hostname
Status Connection status: Up/Exited X seconds/minutes/hours/days/weeks/months, Restarting

Add a Network Connection

Edit Network Connections

View Connection Log

  • Click Resources then Networks.

  • Click View Log

Start or Pause a Network Connection

  • Click Resources then Networks.

  • Click Pause for the connection then confirm.

  • Click Start for the connection.

Delete a Network Connection

  • Click Resources then Networks.

  • Click Delete for the connection then confirm.
