Add encryption keys to Cirro to enable table, object and column-level database encryption.

View Encryption Key

  • Click Secure Connect then Encryption Keys.

From here, you can create, edit or delete encryption keys.

Add Encryption Key

You can paste your encryption key into Cirro, or point to one saved on your Cirro server.

  • Click Secure Connect then Encryption Keys.

  • Click Create Encryption Key

  • Now enter the key details.

Field Description Example
Key name Enter a descriptive name for your key MyKey
Value Paste the content of your .key file here.  
Password Enter your password if you set one when the key was created. 000DestructZero
  • Click Create when you’re finished.

Edit Encryption Key

You can edit your encryption key if the folder, key values or password has changed.

  • Click Secure Connect then Encryption Keys.

  • Click Edit on your key and make the desired modifications.

Delete Encryption Key

  • Click Delete on any key.

  • Click Yes on the confirmation message.
