Allows modification of an existing driver, which was created previously with CREATE DRIVER.

Syntax

ALTER DRIVER driverName SET OPTIONS( key 'value' [,..n] );

Arguments

  • driverName: The name of an existing driver.

  • key ‘value’: One or more key-value pairs, from the following.

    • NAME: The driver name.

    • CLASSNAME: The driver’s classname. See CREATE DRIVER for a list of potential classnames.

    • INCLUDE_PARENT_CLASSPATH: A true/false value in single quotes, such as ‘false’. This value can be left empty to clear the value.

Additional Information

  • The ALTER DRIVER command cannot be used to modify the driver type.
